Tips for watching the Women’s World Cup 2023 using a VPN

  • You may experience a different level of success or failure when you stream the action from the Women’s World Cup. This is due to four variables: Your ISP, browser and video streaming service, as well as VPN.
  • You can use the search for city/country option if your desired location is not listed as a standard option.
  • Two quick solutions are available if your VPN is not working after you have set the viewing region to the correct one. Log into your subscription account for the streaming service and check that the registered address is in the right viewing area. You may have to update the address that is on your account if it’s not correct. Some smart TVs – like Roku – don’t offer VPN applications that you can download directly to the device. Installing the VPN onto your router, or mobile hotspot (such as your phone), will allow you to view any devices connected via its Wi-Fi.
  • The main websites of all the VPN providers that we recommend include detailed instructions to quickly install the VPN onto your router. You may need to confirm a code numeric or click a hyperlink sent to your registered email for smart TV after installing the sports app of a cable provider. A VPN installed on your router can also be helpful, as both devices appear to be located in the right location.
  • Remember that browsers are often able to reveal your location even when you use a VPN. So, make sure you log in with a browser designed for privacy. We usually recommend Brave.
